Conversion of a loft apartment in Berlin Friedrichshain.
The main new additions to the loft apartment are the kitchen, the fireplace and a walk-in cupboard that separates the master bedroom from the living area. The elements of built-in furniture are intentionally visually restrained; they define the contours of the 2 main rooms, contain the clutter of daily life and allow the quality of the main spaces and of the materials to dominate.
